Dallas traffic ranked among nation's worst

It is confirmed: the Dallas area's traffic is among the worst in the United States.

According to INRIX Traffic Scorecard statistics for 2013, Dallas had the 22nd-worst traffic in the country.

In 2013, Dallas drivers wasted over 22 hours sitting in congestion.

The worst corridor for congestion in Dallas is I-35E between Mockingbird Lane and I-30. That area was ranked the 47th-worst in the country for back-ups.

Fellow Texans in Austin and Houston deal with even-worse traffic -- the former was ranked the fourth-worst city for traffic, and the latter came in 17th.

Overall congestion in the US rose six percent last year.
